PROJECT 1	PHILIPPINES ASSET VALUATION

PHILIPPINES ASSET VALUATION CLIENT: Transco LOCATION: Manila Philippines	This project involved the asset valuation of electricity transmission utility network service provider, Transco assets on behalf of the Philippines regulator, in preparation for regulatory revenue reset purposes and the sale of some transmission assets. This project involved reviewing and clarifying the current asset databases, review of the financial accounts and determination of the modern equivalent appropriate asset value. READ MORE

PROJECT 2	ASSET FAILURE ANALYSIS

ASSET FAILURE ANALYSIS CLIENT: Ergon Energy LOCATION: Regional Queensland	This project covered various aspects including performing emergency investigations of critical distribution power supply failures for the utility, detail analysis of utility planned maintenance programs and analysis of the extensive recorded distribution asset failure modes to report on focused future maintenance recommendations. PROJECT 3	CORONA INSPECTIONS

CORONA INSPECTIONS CLIENT: Powerlink LOCATION: Regional Queensland	A corona inspection was performed on the outdoor bus for Zone substations. Items were identified just after commissioning that required replacement of new assets while still under EPCM warranty periods. Other corona inspections identified failing overhead disk insulators on transmission towers, through non evasive methods well before physical failure and loss of feeder supply and customer minutes lost.
